A compilation of California hikes from the past two years

“Doubly happy, however, is the man to whom lofty mountain tops are within reach.”  John Muir

Sunset over Death Valley

I already completed my 2013 year in review post, in order to be concise, I had to omit many photos. Therefore, I thought I’d put together a collection of hikes in California from the past two years here. These are in no certain order, but rather randomly thrown together and each has a special beauty and place in my heart. Enjoy!

  1. Incredible photography! Wonderful places! Have you ever been to Pt. Lobos in Carmel? It’s north of Big Sur. Gorgeous place and I can only imagine the photos you’d get! I went there once but I was recovering from knee surgery so I couldn’t walk a lot of the trails. Happy New Year!

    1. I was up that way when I went to Big Sur and spent some time in Monterey. I had had Point Lobos on my schedule, but didn’t manage to fit it in. It will give me an excuse to revisit the area asap! Thanks for commenting and glad you enjoy my work!
