Good-bye California, see you again

“The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye, the story of love is hello and goodbye…until we meet again” Jimi Hendrix

After two years of calling Los Angeles and California home, our time here has come to an end. Having arrived in 2012 after over five years living abroad, touching down in California was a blessing. With the abundance of nature and outdoor opportunities, it was the perfect spot at the right time.

That said, we feel Los Angeles is a little too big and much too expensive for us, so we will be moving on to Colorado for the next chapter of our adventures.  We will be leaving on April 30th, spending two weeks traveling between Los Angeles and Denver with our friend Laura along for the ride.

Expect lots of new and fresh posts coming from our upcoming stops, including the biggies of this trip-the Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde National Parks.

  1. I am loving your pictures. Especially when I saw Big Sur. It has to be the most beautiful coast I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to coasts in Australia. My husband is from San Jose so we make a trip to CA each year for a couple of weeks. My favorite place in all of CA is Santa Cruz! I love all of the Bay area. Anyway, I’m sure you’ll have great pictures from Colorado as well. God speed and good luck.
