Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona is a geological feature on the Colorado River just south of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam, where the river makes a dramatic horseshoe shaped turn amidst massive 1000 foot red cliffs overlooking the beautiful vista.

From the parking area, there is a short 0.5 mile hike down to the overlook, which provides marvelers with excitement and anticipation as they approach the cut through the stone just beyond the ridge.

Upon reaching the spot, not only are you rewarded with fantastic views down and around, but also with lots of unique rock formations up top as well that leave you with a sense of amazement at natures handy work.

The day we went, as if not to be left out of the game, the sky played along with the show and showed us what it had to offer too, giving us many vibrant cumulus fluffs to add another dimension to the already gorgeous natural surroundings.
