Valley of the Gods, Utah

After leaving Monument Valley, we decided to head north and check out the area on the map shown as Valley of the Gods. We had neither heard nor seen any information about the place and on the way there was zero signage pointing the way.

Upon arrival however, it quickly became apparent that we had stumbled upon a gem of sorts. Although it was very similar in character to Monument Valley less than an hour away, it had a much wilder feel with fewer people and zero development and only a single road threading through the park, providing endless vistas of the buttes and other rock formations as well as the fantastic clouds dotting the sky.

  1. I just returned from a trip to the Moab area and have fallen in love with Southern Utah. Valley of the Gods will definitely be on the must do list of any future trips! Wonderful photos.
